The achilles heel of the Ryobi is sudden increases in demand from the tool, which the board will as a result shut it down. Some of the gradual increases in demand when testing the tool suit it more here, but in use we find if you feel a snag it will play it safe and shut the tool off. So that’s some usage vs testing that’s worth knowing.

I got a Milwaukee drill and the chuck slips on the drill bits. I have to do the locking thing with the chuck even if I am just putting a bit in for a simple hole in hardwood. I’ve never had problems with this before.
Do they sometimes put too much grease or something in the chuck and you have to take it apart and degrease it or something?

for the vast majority of people, you have no use for the most powerful cordless drills, even if you do alot of work with your drill, spade bits, hole saws, drilling concrete, if you just go a little slower most of these lower end models can do the same job. and even at a professional level be aware of your needs. if your never doing concrete and its rly just wood, pretty much any modern drill will run drill bits into wood. top end drills are less of a need and more of a its nice to have the power and not need it than need it and not have it. but do understand a dcd 805 is alot lighter to lug around than a 1007 so sometimes those big tools which also need big batteries just isnt worth it for all day use
